Stand building, from planning to dismantling.

As an exhibition stand builder from Sindelfingen near Stuttgart, we design and build mainly custom stands, less often modular and rental stands, and showrooms too. You have one contact, from the first draft until the stand has been dismantled again.

Stand planning and design

Every stand starts at our table in Sindelfingen. Design, 3D planning, structural calculations and costing are done in-house.

How long it takes depends on the project: we spent eleven months planning the 1,000 m² for Layher at bauma, and six on the showroom for Salomon.

Construction

Walls, furniture and floors are made for your stand, on two levels if you wish. For Layher, 260 of the 1,000 m² were double-deck.

Joinery is handled by long-standing partner firms we have been friends with for years. Responsibility stays with us.

Technology

Lighting, media and trusses are part of planning the stand. The technical work is carried out with long-standing partner firms.

For Layher, a centrepiece hung above the stand; in the Salomon showroom there is a TV wall at the far end.

Warehouse and transport

We have our own warehouse. From there your stand goes onto the truck and off to the show.

Transport and logistics are part of the job. You do not need a second contact for that.

Installation and dismantling

Installation is done by our own crew. For Layher, 16 people spent 14 days in the hall. After the show we dismantle the stand again.

“We particularly appreciate your personal commitment during planning, installation and dismantling, and on site during the show.”

Showrooms

Sometimes an exhibition stand becomes a permanent space. After 45 stands in 15 years, we built Salomon a 400 m² showroom at INTERSPORT redblue in Heilbronn, and Auto Bebion a 100 m² one in Magstadt.

Frequently asked questions

Your question isn’t listed? Give us a call: +49 7031 632 03-80.

What does FREUNDE Messebau take care of for an exhibition stand?

Design, construction, production, transport and installation, right through to dismantling the stand after the show. You have one contact for all of it.

Does FREUNDE build everything itself?

Planning, warehouse and installation crew are our own. Joinery, technology and finishing are handled by long-standing partner firms we have been friends with for years. Responsibility for the whole stand stays with us.

How large are the stands you build?

Two examples: 60 m² for Sierra Bullets at IWA OutdoorClassics and 1,000 m² for Layher at bauma 2025, 260 m² of it double-deck.

How long does a project take?

That depends on the project. For Layher’s stand at bauma 2025 we planned for 11 months and built for 14 days. The Salomon showroom in Heilbronn took 6 months of planning and 24 days of installation.

Do you also build showrooms?

Yes. Since 2026 Salomon has had a permanent 400 m² showroom at INTERSPORT redblue in Heilbronn, and Auto Bebion a 100 m² one in Magstadt.

Do you build double-deck stands?

Yes. For Layher at bauma 2025, 260 of the 1,000 m² were double-deck.

Do you also handle dismantling?

Yes. We look after your stand from the first sketch to dismantling.

Who is my contact?

You have one contact for the whole project. For exhibition stands and showrooms, ask for Wolfram Epple or Klaus Maier.

How can I reach you, and how quickly do you reply?

By phone on +49 7031 632 03-80, by email at info@freunde-messebau.de or via the contact form, Monday to Friday from 8 am to 6 pm (CET). We usually get back to you the same working day.

At Friedenstraße 11, 71069 Sindelfingen, near Stuttgart, Germany. That is where our office is, and where every stand is planned.

Can I measure what my stand achieves?

Yes, with VISPAL. Camera sensors capture visitor numbers, behaviour patterns and interactions anonymously and in compliance with the GDPR. From this you get recommendations for space, exhibits and staffing.

Do you only build custom exhibition stands?

Mostly. We design and build most of our stands individually. We also build modular and rental stands, just less often.
